Windows Control Panel (WCP) is where one should find detailed information about the components on a computer. Unfortunately, Microsoft has deemed it necessary to make WCP has un-intuitive as possible. So I decided to try my hand at making an alternative – Simple Control Panel (SCP)

System Information: Pulls up a summary screen of the basic information about a computer. Typically this information is what most users are seeking, even if it is slightly confusing.
Hard Drives: Pulls basic information about a computer’s hard drives.
Credits: Giving Credit where it is due.
Monitor and Displays: Pulls monitor count and display resolution
Sound Control: Tests the PC Speaker and sound card as well as a master volume control.
Internet Status: Gives Basic Information about your Internet Address.
Administrator Check: Checks if the user is logged in as a Limited User or as an Administrator.
Time: Gives Local and UTC Time. Can also manually set the time.
Windows Settings: Displays common but “geeky” settings in Windows.
DirectX Test: Pulls up Microsoft’s DirectX tool.
Documentation: A quick glance at what SCP does.
Network Cards: Displays information about a system’s network cards.
SCP’s Homepage: The page that you are reading right now.
Donate: If you find this software useful, please donate via Paypal.
Check for Updates: Checks if a newer version of SCP is available.
Clean Up and Exit: Exits the program.
